ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING...

In simple words we know that Attitude is a simple thing that can make a big difference. Most of people say that Attitude is everything because you can improve your performance by improving your attitude, and also if you change your attitude, you can change your life. On the other hand, Psychologists define attitudes as a learned tendency to evaluate things in a certain way. This can include evaluations of people, issues, objects or events. Such evaluations are often positive or negative, but they can also be uncertain at times.  In my opinion, Attitudes are the established ways of responding to people and situations that we have learned, based on the beliefs, values and assumptions we hold. Attitudes become manifest through your behavior.
Researchers also suggest that there are several different components that make up attitudes: An Emotional Component that is how the object, person, issue or event makes you feel, a Cognitive Component which includes your thoughts and beliefs about the subject, and a Behavioral Component that is the most important because attitudes influence your behavior. Attitudes can also be explicit and implicit. Explicit attitudes are those that we are consciously aware of and that clearly influence our behaviors and beliefs while Implicit attitudes are unconscious, but still have an effect on our beliefs and behaviors.
However, the question is How do attitudes form?  Attitudes form directly as a result of experience. They may emerge due to direct personal experience, or they may result from observation. Social roles and social norms can have a strong influence on attitudes. Social roles relate to how people are expected to behave in a particular role or context. Social norms involve society's rules for what behaviors are considered appropriate. Attitudes can be learned in a variety of ways, but the most common way is by observing people around you. When someone you admire greatly espouses a particular attitude, you are more likely to develop the same beliefs. For example, children spend a great deal of time observing the attitudes of their parents and usually begin to demonstrate similar outlooks.
We have talked about attitudes in general, but what does a positive attitude include? Since many years, people have been looking for a way to be happier for, and It is considered that the key to be happy is to have a good attitude towards every bad or good moment. There are some pieces of advice that can help you to have a good attitude: Wait to worry, did you know that the 8% of what we worry about never come true?, and also you should keep an attitude on gratitude; remember, you should count your blessings. To sum up, Attitude is something that only depends on you, you have the power to decide in your life if you want to be happy or not. 3. It is amazing how attitude changes the way we are planning to live our lives. As Ruth and Sara were commenting preciosly attitude may allow us to achieve different things that perhaps wouldn't be for us if we don't present ourselves with a good face, a good attitude.

Just to add, attitude not only open us doors but also it allows us to live a different style of life in which we are able to enjoy the simple things with joy....That is priceless!!!
